We sell the following grass plugs: Bermuda - Centipede -  St. Augustine -  Zoysia The grass plugs we sell are primarily adapted to areas of the Southern USA states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Some species or varieties may not be suitable for use in states with colder winter climates. If you are not sure a variety will grow in your area, please check the planting chart for your state or consult with your Extension agent. Shipping Plugs: The plugs we sell are 3x3 plugs and are sold 36 plugs each per order (Ameri-shade is 48 plugs @ 2x3 plugs per order). All orders ship as 2 trays @ per each order). Seeds are available for Bermuda, Centipede and Zoysia, however at this time it is not possible to grow seeds for St. Augustine grasses. Use our guide to help determine which varieties are best adapted for your area. Your best source of information will be your local cooperative extension agent. The only plug grass species we sell that is suitable for planting in more colder locations is Zoysia. Establishing time for plugged lawns will depends on the time of year when your plugs are planted along with the variety, climate, spacing, soil type and care. Generally it can take anywhere from one to three years to fully establish a lawn from plugs.   IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WHERE WE SHIP GRASS PLUGS: Due to state agricultural regulations on the importation of soils, we do NOT ship Grass Plugs to these states: Arizona, California, Oregon, Nevada & Washington. We currently do not ship plugs outside of the USA mainland States (No shipments to Hawaii, Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam or Alaska). There are no restrictions on seeds shipped to these states. Shipment Dates: Our plugs ship year-round every Monday for all orders placed the previous week by 10 am EST on Friday. Orders placed after 10 am Friday will be scheduled to ship a week later. Occasionally shipments may be delayed due to weather issues (heavy rain results in plugs too wet to ship). Since we ship plug orders ASAP after they are placed, please order only when you are ready to plant.
